Main project: film “Off-Time” 

During the previous month I finalized the story and finished the storyboard of the film:

Now I’m making an animation test and am ready for full production.

 

Side project: travel journal

The working title for the travel journal about Hiroshima from the foreigner’s point of view is

“I Didn’t Know I Was Tall”. Here is a cover of a possible zine.

Now I’m collecting and sketching other stories to include them in this zine.

Workshops / talks / interviews

I did a press conference interview for the local newspaper in the Hijiyama school about Ukraine:

And did an introduction talk there showing my works:

We had a meeting at HAP school for kids with special needs and planned a workshop for them:

I prepared a Machikado workshop for Joyama school:

And did a 45-minute talk showing my works for their students:

And made a part of the festival’s trailer:

Now I’m preparing other presentations and editing an interview with Akiko Isonaga.
