【Special Screening: Water】
Water is the main theme of the Hiroshima Animation Season 2022.
Special screening of dancer Min Tanaka's documentary film, "Nameless Dance," directed by Isshin Inudo. The film has an animation part by Koji Yamamura, artistic director of the festival. Guests Min Tanaka, Isshin Inudo, and Koji Yamamura will discuss the importance of animation in the film, which was released in January this year.

Isshin Inudo
Film directorBorn in 1960. He worked as a TV commercial director/planner and was recognized with numerous awards for advertising before becoming a film director. Received the Japan Art Encouragement Prize for "Josee, the Tiger, and the Fish"(2003) and "La Maison de Himiko"(2005). "Bizan" (2007), "Zero Focus" (2009), and "The Floating Castle" (2012) won the Japan Academy Award. His latest films include a documentary film Min Tanaka "The Unnamable Dance" (2022) and a fiction film starring Kei Tanaka: "Haw" (2022).
